NEW YORK – Today, FOX Sports announces the voices behind its first-ever presentation of the 155th running of the Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets. As the network prepares for dual-screen coverage on Saturday, June 10, this year’s race also marks the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s historic Triple Crown sweep. Today’s announcement was made by FOX Sports President of Production & Operations, Executive Producer Brad Zager.

BELMONT DAY ON FOX
Beginning at 4:00 PM ET with BELMONT DAY ON FOX, the network’s prerace show coverage is anchored by veteran studio host Curt Menefee, multiple Grade 1–winning trainer Tom Amoss and Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith – the last to claim a Triple Crown win – providing viewers with expert racing analysis.

Smith has a decorated history at Belmont Park, riding Drosselmeyer to the 2010 Belmont Stakes winner’s circle and again in 2013 aboard Palace Malice prior to his heralded Triple Crown run with Justify (2018).

Also joining the coverage, Chris Fallica makes his highly anticipated FOX Sports debut, sharing up-to-the-minute wagering expertise alongside host Charissa Thompson.

Emmy Award-winning reporter Tom Rinaldi shares stories from within and beyond the track, sitting down with Triple Crown–winning trainer Bob Baffert (American Pharaoh and Justify) and the legendary jockey Ron Turcotte, who famously rode Secretariat to a Triple Crown victory in 1973.

Maggie Wolfendale also contributes throughout the show, reporting live on horseback from undercard races and providing valuable insight from the paddock – sharing an expert look at the horses with viewers.
